What are you most proud of? That I was able to produce a flower that was similar to those sold on the market but for a fraction of the price

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Play around with how loose or tight you crumple the paper and different flower punches and dies. This will give the flower a different look. Don't be afraid to add glitter, Glimmer mists, or inks.

Hi Sue! Thanks for sharing! Like all the other I'd love to try it. Especially @sandraeeno 's idea of using book pages. I can imagine it would also be fun to paint some color onto news print and do it that way too. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm new to paper crafts. Can anyone give me some advice on finding the punches? Are there a few things you'd recommend I check when purchasing my own (in terms of quality). I have a Joanne's nearby but they always have several options of everything and I never know when it's worth it to buy the more expensive tools or when the cheaper brands will be just fine.

I was going to say Joanne's. They are a bit expensive, but if you look they often have sales and always have coupons. You can sign up for their newsletter online. Also Scrapbooking stores will have a good selection and will give you help with your selection.

Sue,can you please tell me ,what kind of paper do you use to make the flowers ?..is that color tissue paper ?...

I used scrapbook paper (the weight of copier paper) for this project, but found that even construction paper works too.

Love this flower. I'm a beginner with paper crafts, this flower is beautiful. How did you join the petals together?
