Since my muslin I:
1. changed the length of the back crotch, made it about 2 inches longer b/c I has a "protruding butt" as she calles it.
2. made the front smaller so it is not so baggy. I don't have much of a tummy so it was way too bunchy with the pattern dimensions.

What are you most proud of?

They fit so much better! There is still room for improvement on the next pair but these are looking pretty good.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Keep trying! I think these adjustments are things that will take practice to really get.

Hey, Chrissy. You have motivated me to keep trying. You are looking good in your new curvy girl pant. Did you adjust your muslin and test it again before cutting your garment fabric? Did you use a cotton fabric for the muslin -or- something closer to your lovely draped garment fabric?

Hey! I used cotton muslin and just was brave (or stupid) and cut my fabric rather than make another one. I am always a little overly brave when it come to sewing.

Looking good, girl! I wasn't sure I'd like this pattern because it's not a design I would even have tried on in RTW. But, like you I'm a curvey girl and I really like the look of them now. Can't wait to see the finished trousers!

These pants are look pretty good. I haven't gotten my pattern yet. I have a rounded back side as well. Should I add 3 inches to crotch just for starters? Your pants are better than a lot of store bought pants. I would be happy with them.
