What are you most proud of? Again, that I finished it. This was my first quilt that I felt really satisfied by and my second quilt ever. It weighs a TON!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just go for it. Recycled materials are a fantastic way to jump in to being creative with your sewing. When you use materials as heavy as corduroy and wool, you don't need batting, Also, pants that have been worn will have a strong bias; accept and embrace the little imperfections.

I made a quilt out of men's plaid and striped shirts. I gave it to my nephew for graduation. I like this quilt too. Maybe I should make a throw pillow out of pants to go with his shirt quilt. LOL
