What was your inspiration?

I had the panda bear fabric in my cupboard for over 15 years. I had bought it for my daughter who is now 20! Peggy Martin suggested to choose fabrics with strong contrast and the panda bear fabric was my inspiration and the basis for my colour choices.

What are you most proud of?

The colors play off each other perfectly and most of the points on the design are sharp!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Peggy Martin gives good advice about fabric selection, strong contrasts work great, and add fabric you love. The paper piecing method is a great way of making a sharp looking quilt.

That's so fantastic that you used fabric that was in your stash for 15 years! You did a wonderful job with your color selection, too - love your finished result!
