What was your inspiration?

This was 1 out of 7 centerpieces I created for my friend's son's Bar Mitzvah. He loves paleontology! Each centerpiece reflected a different vignette of prehistoric times or items: Dinosaur footprint; Amber (fosilized bugs in tree sap); Giant prehistoric dragonfly; Dinosaur nest with eggs; Prehistoric frog/lizard; Prehistoric nautilus; and a Mastodon stuck in a tar pit.

What are you most proud of?

Getting the wings to stay on.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This was the one centerpiece that I was most excited about ... but the most disappointed in how it came out.
