What was your inspiration?

I had a lot of fun with this class. As I can get my buttercream ultra smooth, I have very little use for covering an entire cake in fondant. So, I decided to try my hand at painting on a buttercream cake instead. It takes a light touch and a little more patience than painting on fondant, but I think it doesn't look too bad...at least for a first try. :) My handwriting was horrible, though! :( I usually use my cricut for writing, but got a little lazy as this was just a cake for us to eat.

OMG if you had not of said it was buttercream I would never have thought it wasn't fondant. It's just beautiful.. To be able to paint on buttercream surely has to be a new frontier :)) The frogs (and your buttercream) are gorgeous. :) Well done indeed.. Roz
