Painted Scarf

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:

Difficulty:

Category: Weaving

Type of item: Accessory

For: Unisex

Style: Casual

Materials

I thought the idea of a stash scarf was ideal, so I used acrylic/wool blends for easy washing. I'm looking forward to weaving my next project using my handspun wool.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted a bright colored scarf that would look good with several different sweaters or coats.

What are you most proud of?

I was concerned about how my selvages would look but I think the scarf turned out really pretty.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Do what Angela says to do and don't get ahead of yourself...enjoy the process. It is a lot of fun.

It's lovely -- and the sides are perfect. I am working on the stash buster scarf - my first ever weaving project. I hope it will look half as good as yours. Thanks for sharing.
