Materials
Bought whole 'baseball' lamp and lampshade from 'The Christmas Store'. Lampshade was an empty canvas for me.
What was your inspiration?
I just copied, from my mind, you might say, as I looked at the logo of the Orioles' 'O'. You could copy the "O' after you got it the correct size, say from Googling it. Put it on tracing paper and transfer it onto the lampshade. I then added the extra baseballs, a creative idea of my own. You have to be careful here. When you cut on the light, sometimes all artwork does not look as good as when the light is OFF!
What are you most proud of?
The project or artwork looked ok when the light is cut ON! My husband wanted it in the office, after all!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Know when to stop, don't overdo the artwork and follow what I mentioned in the 'inspiration' notation.
