Gourds and acrylic paints

What was your inspiration?

Mexican/Mission style artwork and all of it's vibrant colors and details!

What are you most proud of?

The designs I was able to create!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be patient, if you want very detailed gourds like I have painted, this might be a few day project! It took me about 4 days to paint all 5 gourds. Come back to it if you get tired or frustrated so you won't lose interest or your patience! Have fun and use LOTS of color! These can be painted to match any decor!

Just the small bottles of acrylic paints, like Apple Barrel, from Walmart or Micheal's stores. Then I sprayed with a clear acrylic sealer spray, which I beleive was Krylon. I put a few coats of the acyrlic sealer on.

Thank you lessles, I do not sale them, just made these for my house, they all sit in a big spanish style scroll work cast iron bowl. They are so fun to paint yourself, just kind of time consuming.
