What was your inspiration?

My daughter-in-law loves purple. She requested purple items for her first daughter, my first granddaughter.

What are you most proud of?

This is the first padded blanket I made with quilt batting.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I sewed the quilt batting to the purple flannel around the edges, then sewed square patterns to better secure it. I then sewed the paw print flannel inside out to the purple flannel, leaving a hole open at the end, then turned it right side out and hand sewed the hole. I made two matching pillows with purple on one side and paw prints on the other. This was an interesting.
