|Here are some details about my project:|
|Yarn Weight||Worsted (10 ply)|
|Sizing||Infant / Baby|
What materials did you use? Vanna's Choice yarn for the project, and DMC perle cotton (single strand) for the chain-stitch eyes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Simply follow the well-written pattern. Take your time. No one says it has to be fast. And, because this was for an infant, I made eyes simply using a chain stitch. DO NOT USE ANY PLASTIC EYES, even the so called safety doll eyes, for pieces used by any child under 3. Seriously! Instead, practice your chain stitch on a swatch and embroider some lovely eyes instead. If you need help, send me a note. I'll find good links with pictures. DMC perle cotton is all you'll need.
