|Here are some details about my project:|
|Style||Casual, Funky, Whimsical|
What materials did you use? Class kit polka dot fabric, freezer paper, fusible wed, cotton and invisible thread.
What are you most proud of? Adjusting the pattern to make individual blades and sewing precision seams. When squared up I had only slivers.
What advice would you give someone starting this project? If your machine has it use the free arm. This makes sewing the curved seams more like easing in a garment sleeve. I pinned the background fabric on top when joining the curves. For me its easier to avoid puckers instead of having to deal with it underneath as I sewed. There's no need to clip the curved seams. They press flat.
