What was your inspiration?
My husband & I love our out of doors.
He loves to hunt...so, there are pictures of deer, elk & bears
in the centers of some of the blocks.
I love yellow roses, flowers, geese & birds...so those pictures
are in some of the centers of the quilt.
The center block of the quilt has a picture of my husband walking a
road that he & his Grandpa, Dad, Uncle & brothers used to drive
when they did farming a long time ago in CA.
We found a old part of the road on one of our trips to CA.,
He didn't know that I had taken this picture. He was very surprised & happy
That we had it in our quilt.
( He was in his younger years& it meant a lot to him to find that part of the
road.)
What are you most proud of?
The way all that all of the pictures work together for us.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pick things that you love. This quilt could be for many different reasons.
Baby pictures, wedding, camping, sports, different trips & the list goes on.
