Instructions

After upholstering the ottoman according to pattern instructions:
- Glue onto the 1" x 6" frame, rope trim pre-stained and varathaned along the bottom edge and clamp until dry.
- Glue 3.5" decorative trim above the rope trim, clamping until dry.
NOTE: I used 3" foam but wish I had followed the pattern suggestion and used 4".

What was your inspiration?

I'd been unsuccessfully searching for the perfect 4' x 4' coffee table. I was inspired by the DIY Upholstered Ottoman project featured on the Steven and Chris Show.

What are you most proud of?

It is another piece of furniture in our home that has a story!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The instructions are fairly simple. Have the lumber store precut the plywood into 4' x 4' pieces for you.
