What was your inspiration?

I was inspired by the fabric to come up with this pattern. When I received the Constellations fabric (by Lizzy House for Andover) I just knew that it needed to include stars, then the paper-pieced arrows just sort of popped into my head and so Orion was born!

What are you most proud of?

The arrows definitely! This is the first pattern I've written that includes some paper piecing and I could not be more proud of how the arrows turned out!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you're a little leery about paper piecing - don't be! I taught myself using the Internet and there some really great tutorials (including video tutorials) to be found out there on the web!
