This is the third time I have made the Spiral Burst Bargello pattern designed by Becky Botello. This time I made the pattern with oriental fabric. Kona Bay's Honshu fabric line
What are you most proud of?
My seam ripper got a real work out on this quilt I had to rip out and replace two fabrics that didn't work. Getting all the directional fabric pointed the correct was was challenging.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Avoid highly directional fabric. Do not place five relative dark fabrics next to each other in the strip set.
