This brooch and necklace are featured in my book 'Wire Jewelry Masterclass' as one of the most advanced projects, due to it's 3D construction. I have made the brooch with hand woven sterling silver wire, which form the 5 petals. I have attached 6 natural Ox Blood Rubies to the side petals (which have all been wrapped with silver wire) and one in the the central petal. The whole piece has been oxidised to highlight the detail. The pin that is visiable in the picture is hidden from view when you are wearing the brooch, as this is the section you attach to your clothing. The brooch is 1 1/2" tall and 1 1/3" wide with 1/3" depth. I have made the necklace with hand woven copper wire and attached 6 mookaite beads to the side petals (which have all been wrapped with copper wire) and one in the the central petal. The chain and clasp are also hand made from copper wire. The pendant is 1 1/4" tall and 1 1/4" wide with 1/3" depth. Thanks for looking :)
