What was your inspiration?
This is a gift for Madison (almost 16 yrs old now!), who when she was learning colors only liked Orange. Colors became Orange or uh uh Orange and Orange is still her favorite color. This quilt is definitely Orange! When I saw the Marmalade Layer Cake it had to be Madison's quilt.
What are you most proud of?
That it took me less than a week to make it.... ok, that's because I tied it down instead of machine quilting it. And the backing is no pill polar fleece that I found on sale and the colors were perfect! I'm happy to have finished it in time for a visit this weekend!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's "sew simple" there's no advice!
