What was your inspiration?
This was my first Stupendous Stitching project and I wanted to make the fabric into something practical like a tote bag.
What are you most proud of?
I really like all the texture and colors.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used a fat quarter of Batik fabric to start. Then after Stupendous Stitching, I folded the piece in half. It was too short for a bag,, so I sewed two pieces of black fabric to both ends. I quilted some gold lines on the black fabric to tie in with the gold thread on the main fabric.
