What was your inspiration?
I saw this chicken material in the shop and bought it - but was not sure what to do with it - until I saw a quilt with flying geese...so I thought it would work with a friendship star, the chicken in the middle. Then I found this orange plaid flannel and thought it went quite well together.
What are you most proud of?
How nice it turned out. The person I gave this to really liked the orange colors too.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Plan ahead before starting on a project like this. The flying geese borders can be quite labor intensive.
