By stringing the opalite peanut beads tightly they form a criss-cross pattern which looks like a multi-string necklace. To save weight (and beads), I used chain to give the necklace the additional, and adjustable, length it needed to be comfortable. It is still on the heavy side.Difficulty:

Created opalite peanut beads with faceted opalite teardrop focal bead. Beadalon stringing wire, Silver-plated chain and findings.
What was your inspiration?
Opalite, while manmade, still seems to capture the beauty of moonlight.
What are you most proud of?
It's simple elegance.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Keep the beads taut on the stringing wire with just enough slack for the focal bead to lie flat when worn.
