What are you most proud of? That she turned out as well as she did. Especially her fingers, wow. She is a funny girl & she makes me smile.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time & if you have a teacher, pay close attention to her every direction. Have fun with it, That is why we do these kinds of projects.

Oh my goodness! Those boobies! (Sorry - I just had to mention them!) She is such a lovely lady and looks just like the Art mistress that taught me in High School in the '50s! She was Miss Greaves and we used to call her Grievous Peabody (don't ask me why)! I absolutely adore your "Patty" - how tall is she? I want to make one just like her!

Patricia, we both thank you so much for your wonderful comments & sharing. If you look below on the comments, you will see where to go to get a pattern. After you make her, you will definatly have to share. :-) Have fun. Pamela

The view from your home is breathtaking! What a beautiful place to live. I am inspired just seeing the mountain valley in this picture. I am also inspired by your projects. They have suggested some things I could do to embelish my projects. Thank you for sharing.

Pamilia! Your inspiration kept wheedling away at my brain and I eventually decided to look into doll-making. I discovered a book by Jan Horrox called "Introduction to Making Cloth Dolls" and have just made my first one (I've posted her on the site under "Other" if you want to see her). I think yours was possibly a Jill Maas pattern and I've just bought (via Jan Horrox's website) patterns for "Lola and Nelson" (a lady and a spotty dog) who are shown sitting on a striped sofa. I've also sent for the sofa pattern (which is by another designer) and will have to ask my husband for help in constructing that! I have also simply GOT to make "Fishy Flossie" (again by Jill Maas) as a gift to the niece we stay by the sea with in Cornwall every year ... but first things first ... mustn't try and run before I can walk!! Thank you so much for inspiring me to take up a whole new hobby (but what am I going to do with that enormous quilting stash? -don't worry, life WILL return to "normal".)
