What was your inspiration?

making tops for someone other than me for the first time

What are you most proud of?

the way they fit...this is another one size fits most style, using stretchy material and elastic, I made them for everyone from a size 3 to a size 18 and they all loved the fit and feel

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

soft stretchy material works best, but if you use cotton non stretch (as i did with the colored dots one) just add stretchy plain to the back top part for a comfortable fit

I love the look of these tops. I just wish I could get the hang f working with stretchy material without it all getting eaten by my machine or just not stretching at all. This could become one of my faves too. Love it.

the secret to the stretchy material is to make sure you sew away from any edges as they like to get sucked into the machine, and always use a zigzag stitch for the stretch : P
