What materials did you use? 100% Cotton yardage--at least 6 repeats of the pattern. Pins

What are you most proud of? I learned a new technique. It was labor intensive, mindful, and creative. It took me almost a year to complete just the piecing. While it turned out to be quite attractive, it really wasn't my style. I gifted it to the friend who introduced the idea to me and who also has her own long arm quilting business. Natalie was thrilled (she never got around to doing her own.)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read all the instructions, look at all the photos. Even if the finished quilt isn't to your liking you will have learned something new. Each quilt is a learning experience and no one ever says no thanks to a gifted quilt.

Wow. It looks fabulous and kudos to you for finishing it.

I love the kaleidescipe effect that technique has created - thanks for sharing!

So beautiful. I made a kaleidecope with a similar style of cutting, but I am a little nervous about filling in any blank spaces to finish. My pattern was a square when done. Probably a little trial and error for me. Great choice of colors ---- I have looked at your other projects and have some of the same fabrics. The flip flops is a favorite. Great minds run together, right?
