Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: I made this cake for my own birthday cake. If you have a cake addiction - you will understand. Haha! I have tried Jessica's wax paper method before but it didn't come out perfect like hers, imagine that. I wanted to give it another go with her new ombre "mixing" technique in this class. The stripes are not as straight as I wanted, the cut out on top of the ombre didn't work out so well either but I patched things up the best I could and I think it turned out okay - by no means perfection like she does, but good for me :) She has amazing talent!

I know this doesn't resemble the cakes in this class at all but.I took this class to learn more of Jessica's techniques. I just love her! This is a 6" round double barrel. It is sitting in the snow. The all butter buttercream looks more yellow against the snow background! I should have dusted it will luster.

Absolutely beautiful! I love it! On question if I may ask. How did you make the stunning flower? Great job :)

Hi Nayda! Thank you. The flower is from Jessica's second class. Very simple to make :)
