Olivine tease...

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Wire-Wrapped Stones, Crystals & Clusters »

Instructions

Experiment with different shapes and beads... It will be worth your while...

Difficulty:

Category: Jewelry

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Classic, Whimsical, Traditional, Romantic

Materials

26 ga copper wire, copper earwires, 2 copper headpins, 11/0 olivine seed beads, 2 green mother of pearl 6mm focal beads

What was your inspiration?

Aga's first project in her online class... I think I have fallen in love with the wrapped shape idea... So this tone, tried an oval :)

What are you most proud of?

The wires seemed uniformly wrapped...and I felt really good about that...

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun!!

Did you wrap around an oval mandrill? I have not had any success yet making an oval. I am now even more impressed with yours.
