What was your inspiration?
I had just learned to do the Olivia chainmaille weave when I received these exceptional teardrop coin pearls from Jyx pearls. I knew the elaborate and luxurious Olivia weave would be perfect to show off these fantastic pearls!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This weave is a variation on the Byzantine chain weave, but can be quite tricky. It would be best to be very comfortable with Byzantine before attempting Olivia, especially if planning to add the tiny beads inside the Olivia units.
