What was your inspiration?

This was for my 3rd granddaughter, Miss Olivia.

What are you most proud of?

I like the colors best in this quilt. It is hand quilted because I had not yet bought my Juki machine. I don't know how I finished it, I find hand quilting so slooooow.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

As usual, try your best to match points.

The colors remind me of cotton candy and are perfect for a little girl OR even big big girls.

Like the colors too. Could you share the block pattern for the pinwheel inside the star? I love the block.

I love it! It'll be something to keep in mind for future quilts! Did you design the pattern or buy it?? I've been designing mine using graph paper.

Hi Grits. I just cut long strips of white and dark pink, sew them together lengthwise, then take my ruler to make the squares. You can buy the rulers at quilt supply stores. Its see-through and marked with diagonal lines. Then I just pieced 4 blocks together and added triangles of lighter pink to the edges. I hope that makes sense.
