What was your inspiration?
I love the color of these green seed beads. They just remind me of algae in the ocean, like the phosphorescent stuff that gets churned up in the wake of a big ship.
What are you most proud of?
That I was able to weave thousands of tiny beads into a lovely necklace.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
To not get frustrated at the beginning. When I first started making these, I would have the hardest time getting the spiral going and would end up taking it apart and starting over. Now, it's easy. Just like anything else, the more you practice, the better and easier the task becomes.
