What was your inspiration?

I love the look of ski beanies from the 70's! It looks especially good with MEGA braids!

What are you most proud of?

The clean, precise color work. I used a new technique to create a way to make the design in a way that'a different from traditional color work.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This pattern involves an ADVANCED technique for the color work. It's not what you usually see in crochet and can be tricky. This would probably not be the best choice for your first ever crocheted hat.
