What materials did you use? I'm a Portrait and Still Life Artist

What are you most proud of? I studied with a number of great teachers in the 1970s. They are well known, and if you are as old as I am you'll recognize them by name: Beverly Miller, Bill Alexander, Buck Paulson, Bob Warren, Gary Jenkins, and Lucian Lupinski. I taught oil painting classes during the 1980s and 1990s. In the 1950s every little girl wanted to be a movie star. But, I wanted to be a painter. My very first sketch was a self portrait and I made sure I had a big smile with lots of teeth showing. My sister refers to my first portrait sketch as, "ninety teeth." We still laugh about it.

2strings. Great review from you, and so appreciated. If you ever write books, I want to buy them to read. What a wonderful comment--almost made me cry!

It really is a lovely painting - and th 1st painting I've come across in projects. I agree with 2strings, it truly does invoke the other senses also. Great job :)
