Happens every time ;0) I didn't make what the hat is made of, just like, if I made a shirt I didn't weave the fabric. I purchased a thrift store hat, it was a flat and floppy hat. I added stiffener, shaped it on a hat block, bashed in the shape by hand, added the sweatband and hatband and I made a hat. Some hats I add a wire and ribbon to the brim. Don't know how to crochet, you can teach he and me.
