What materials did you use? Cotton scraps and leftovers

What are you most proud of? Oh dear - I found this the hardest block of all to do! I just couldn't get the half square triangles right (and I've done half square triangles in all sorts of projects before). I ended up deploying the stitch ripper several times and actually took the entire block to pieces at one stage and began again. It's still not perfect, but it'll do! Once again, I found a fairy for it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't let me put you off - I'm sure I got a bee in my bonnet about the half square triangles and made a mountain out of a molehill (if you'll forgive the mixture of metaphors!). which just compounded my mistakes!

WOW! Can I sympathize. Your block came out so pretty & your fussy cutting, spot on. Great color. Thank you for sharing. :-)
