What was your inspiration?
Seeing the lovely work from students in 2012 Block of the Month and the 2.5 inch strips I bought on a whim months ago that had never seemed to fit into any other project I was working on.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Invest in a strip cutter template if you are not using precut strips. I plan on supplementing these bold colors with solids when it calls for something other than 2.5 inch strips.
