What materials did you use? Cotton and paper

What are you most proud of? That I got them done. I got so frustrated trying to do these blocks mainly with cutting the fabric to cover the space right. I cut, fitted ,& tossed quit a number of times and almost just tossed the whole month of Oct. :( but I looked at the work everyone was doing and just could not let myself not do the last months blocks. They are not exactly as they are supposed to be but they are done :).

Your block looks great. I need to find more time to get them done. Great job.

Thank you. they are not exactly right but close enough for me :). I will do it again but I think having a pattern you like gives you more desire to do it.

If you try paper piecing again, I found that measuring the space plus 1/4" and cutting all the pieces first helps alot. No fumbling around at the machine.

Thanks. I ended up measuring the length + a little more than 1/4 inch .The height + 1/4 and cutting retangles of fabric to get it to work. I was a little slow at figuring out I was working in reverse lol

I like the variation of colors, I had the same problem with my pieces. I ended up just cutting strips the correct width then trimmed. Have more scraps for strip squares. Would love to see all of them together.

I REALLY like how you varied your Fabric! (Really wish I would use my 'imagination' more when I choose my fabrics.) Great Job!

I plan to. I just needed to call that block done before I pulled my hair out :) When I get it done I will put it up.
