I decided it would be best to skip the directional print in this block, thank heavens!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I think using a "busy" print in the background helps disguise the foundation pieced seams. The dots on this print are of random size and placement, which worked perfectly.

I love how this turned out! The geese look like they are flying in the night sky! It gives it such demension!

Thanks, kmc! I didn't even notice that until I stepped back and took a look from a bit of a distance. The geese look like they are floating - through no fault of my own! LOL!
