Learning foundation paper piecing.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I really like the precision and crispness of the finished block, and I enjoyed not have to stress about getting perfect 1/4 inch seams (until it was time to sew the four units together to create the block) but this technique wastes too much fabric for my frugal nature. I started this BOM project with just 3 practice fabrics I had on hand and the rest was just random scraps. I don't have enough left of any of the fabrics other than the background fabric to make the other October block. I'll just have to choose some other block pattern to substitute it with.
