What materials did you use? Kaffe Fassett Fabrics

What advice would you give someone starting this project? One thing that I do differently and I think, for me it helps with accuracy. I tape my pieces rather than pin them. Taping outside the stitching area and then gently peeling it off before moving on. This way, I don't have to deal with pins getting in the way unexpectedly and throwing things out of kilter.
