What materials did you use? #20 October BOM - Circle of Geese used - version #2 X 8 blocks. - I gathered up the rest of the plain blue cotton background material, - a orange striped print window valance, - the left over grey cotton print from the first flying geese quilt, - the rest of the cotton blend from the star in the blocks, - a small piece of grey swirl cotton print, - a navy blue pair of fortrell pants cut into strips, - an orange curtain that matched the lightest orange in the stripe. Lots of thread

What are you most proud of? I used up all the scraps down to the smallest one. Joined the blocks together into 4 rows using the leftover scraps from everything in the quilt. I even sewed the small pieces together and made some striped joining strips. I joined the 4 sections together with the left over grey cotton print from the first flying geese quilt. Yea my second Quilt as you go quilt completed using block of the month blocks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I have enjoyed every minute of combining all the things i'm learning on Craftsy. Enjoy the journey and don't be afraid to try new things.

I love the colors you selected for this quilt. This has a real authentic folk art quilt look to it. I bet your boy loves it!
