I found this one really hard - I had it all together once and then took it apart as was not happy with the way it lined up. Definately reduce your stitch size sewing on to the paper but bear in mind that it is VERY difficult to unpick if you do it wrong. I struggled working out how big my bits of material should be so over size them.

It was a good learning curve, would I do another ...

What was your inspiration?

The Block of the month class is brilliant and I am inspired by the lovely work that my class mates do and by Amy's enthusiasm. I hope she does another course next year!

What are you most proud of?

That I got it finished, there were several times I wanted to give up and thought I don't need this block on my quilt, but when I finished I was really pleased. On to the next one now !

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time, watch the class through and through again....

Well worth all the hassle! It's great - you've used the right fabrics in the right places and I look forward to seeing your finished quilt in due course.

The thing I found the hardest was putting it all together at the end, so my big tip, stitch each piece very accurately and make sure it is all cut to the template and pin before sewing. I also struggled working out what size material pieces to use, so go bigger and cut. I also had some of my pattern tear on the perforation... this was also a bit annoying
