This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Instructions

This is my second try of the same block. This time I didn't peel off the paper backing until I finished the block. Took longer to remove the paper but I got better piecing results.

This is a block that I could see in a large quilt. Some BOM don't look like they would make a pretty quilt. I love the colors.

i agree, some of the blocks look like they would make a prettier quilt than others but the Block of the Month is a good way to try lots of them and play with colors without getting in over our heads.

This is great, one of the best I have seen so far in terms of accuracy and neat sewing etc. Love the colours too, really good job.

The first Friendship Circle I tried was a mess. The individual paper-pieced triangles looked good but I couldn't match them up well when trying to sew them together. I hated to do it over but had to, and glad I did.

I wish I had read this before I took my papers off, I have had mine together once and taken it all apart, I am not enjoying it now and just want it finished ! But I suppose it's all about practice. I am not going to use my base material for the second block, I am going to use a colour, I don't like seeing all the seams through the light fabric.

Very nice. I like the design in the center fabric, and the color selection is great. Thanks for the clue about removing the paper.
