What are you most proud of? Getting through this month's blocks. They gave me fits.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay attention to every detail in the video and the written materials. Check out the Class Questions too. Gather as much info as you can before beginning this project. I did all this and still had trouble! Paper piecing is not for me.

These blocks are gorgeous! I really like to paper piece, I like the precision that it gives you, it does have a learning curve but your blocks turned out perfection!

Thanks J.A.C! I have always enjoyed the results. These two blocks are favorites. And now that some time has gone by and I've gained more skills I'm actually thinking of trying paper piecing again. Perhaps with the help of Craftsy's new class.... I got a freebie pattern during a Shop Hop and fell in love with some fabric. Yep, its paper piecing :D May be worth the effort.

Your blocks are tremendous Jean but I am with you paper piecing is not for me either. Love the effect of yours though

I am sorry to hear that you do not lie paper piecing. I really do like the way points come out. Even if you had problems, these turned out beautifully.

OK folks - time for confession. I received a free pattern during a Shop Hop and mentally filed it away until I came across some gorgeous fabric from a new site that Amy (2012 BOM) recommended checking out. It was perfect for the project and off went my order. Turns out its a 9 inch PP block & I have to make 12 of them. They're simple string blocks but I'll need the precision of PP to get the corners to match up. Soooooo - here I go for my 2nd try. This time around I'm taking Carol Doak's Mastering Paper Piecing class here on Craftsy and I've joined her 8,500+ member yahoo group. Already getting encouraged to do better this time around :D

Jean - only been a year......since I've been looking for the "kittie" fabric that you and Di used. Found ONE fat quarter today at Joann's today. Can you believe it???
