What are you most proud of? I love the lace pattern I charted for this scarf! It's delicate without being too filmy - and I really like how it looks in this pretty silk laceweight.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Cast on and go! :)

how much yarn do I need for this project?

You can use more or less yarn for a larger or smaller scarf. You can make a smallish scarf out of one 100g hank of fingering weight, or a large one out of one 100g hank of laceweight.

I was thinking of adding beads to the scarf...what do you think? Do you have a suggestion as to where to place the beads?

That would be gorgeous!! You could put them along the trellis mesh portions of the scarf body, and then in the points of the edging. I can't wait to see this!!

Thank you for a great class! I learned so much from you; you have such a nice way about you as you instruct - easy to learn from you.

I am a beginner and have watched the first lesson and since I am a beginner I realize that I don't know how to cast on, is this class too advanced for me? Can you give me any suggestions as to what I can do to be better prepared for this class.

I keep going over and over the lessons. I love the way you explain everything then show it. You've given me so much confidence. I'm waiting to get some Hand Maiden Sea Silk yarn in the mail to start the ocean scarf. But I want to try some of the other patterns first. I'm going to get your sweater course because I'm loving teh lace one so much.
