What was your inspiration?
This pattern is now available under knitting patterns.
I donate newborn hats to the nursery of a local hospital, and I try to design something different, still adorable and warm. These will likely fit a newborn - 3 month old baby.
What are you most proud of?
The basic knit-in-the-round hat is so incredibly easy. The bill on the rockhopper is a little trickier but just requires a Turkish Cast-on.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
One of these newborn hats can be knit in a day!
