What materials did you use? Batik Fabrics, high-loft polyester batting

What are you most proud of? That I finished it! A king-size quilt on my "normal" sewing machine. Must admit, I have a very nice machine with a large throat, so that helped. But, using the split batting technique taught in the class was great; it worked quite well. I'm also proud of the design, as it is all my own.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the class! The techniques for spray basting, splitting the batting and deciding how to split up the quilt were key to my being able to finish this.

I love the way the colors pop and your stitching is perfect.

Of course you can brag! Your quilt is just great. And even greater I find that you designed the pattern yourself. Just a wonderful quilt - Congrats :-)
