Instructions

I just did a generic newborn hat pattern with an extra long braid as this was to be used as a photography prop only so baby is always supervised while wearing! For the sack I based measurements off of a newborn's body and knitted as if it were a long/large hat. I just created it up as I went along:)

I used Caron Sheepish and some Fun Fur with round and dp needles

What was your inspiration?

I saw sleep sack patterns and love knitted Santa hats so I thought hmmm.....I'd see if I could create a cute Christmas photography prop.

What are you most proud of?

Mastering the pom-pom with eye-lash yarn!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Never make newborn/baby/toddler hats with long braids or loose pom-poms for everyday wear!! I would hate that your beautiful creations end in tragedy!
