What was your inspiration?
I'm really enjoying the "Painting Pictorial Quilts" course and wanted to practice the techniques I've learned so far. Making holiday cards for close friends and family seemed like a good place to start!
What are you most proud of?
I think the bells and holly came out best, but I'm really happy with how all of them look.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used clipart found online for the fabric cutouts, this worked ok but I had to modify a few of them to get the size I needed and this was very time consuming. Also, I didn't realize my cardstock was the same color inside and out so had to add lighter colored paper to write the message on.
