You will need: various colors of size 10 crochet thread, 1 skein Caron Simply Soft Yarn or Worsted weight yarn, 2 skein black (or choice of hair color) embroidery floss 1 yard yellow embroidery floss for lamp post flame Small amount of polyester fiberfill. Tapestry needle Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm) or Aluminum hook size B for working with the crochet thread Aluminum Crochet hook size C (2.75mm) for working with the yarn Washable fabric glue 12 Hoop (The inside hoop of an embroidery hoop works well)
What was your inspiration?
I love Christmas, snow and the whole idea of Christmas Carolers. I decided to design a wall hanging to commemerate this love.
What are you most proud of?
I love both of the carolers outfits. It is an era of clothing that I find really gorgeous.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This pattern has a lot of pictures to help through steps in the pattern including placement of the completed characters on the snowy background. Following these pictures will give the best results.
This is a fun decoration to make.
