What are you most proud of? I have come up with an improvised way of making a hat that can be worn all winter. I crocheted it while riding the bus. I have to make more of this hat as many people want it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take measurements of your head or the head of the one be wearing it. Have fun making it then have fun wearing it.

Since I am new here I don't know how it works. How can I get the pattern for the North Pole Projcet blue stocking cap???

Kathy Eagle, You can't as I did not write a pattern. There are some patterns similar to it on http://www.redheart.com/files/patterns/pdf/LW2075.pdf but I used double crochet stitches and front post double crochet and back post double crochet stitches. When the blue part fit my head and was long enough I then added the white yarn. The pattern in the link is for a baby and uses single crochet stitches but this pattern will work for a bigger person by adding to the increase rounds.
