What materials did you use? 1 skein Noro Kogarashi Yarn (Colour 10) for weft, 1 skein Louet Riverstone Chunky (Clour 57 French Blue) for warp, 9.5cm wide purse frame, Linen fabric for lining (10cm X 20 cm), Sewing thread for jeans, Basting needle (or long needles)

What are you most proud of? I am most proud with the results of how the weave turned out especially after unravelling the piece from a knitted project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The shell and lining turned out to be a bit too bulky for the purse frame so I would suggest a lighter fabric for the lining.

I really LOVE this! What a great way to use sample weaves and those little quick weaves done on smaller, portable looms. I have a couple of the purse frames I was using for felted bags, I never even thought of using them for bulky wovens and I love the look you got! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Miss Purl How do you sew the purse frame to the fabric and how is the lining done? It looks like a mystery. bjr
